LUT Launches New Digital Membership Portal for Tamil Nadu Workers

LUT – Labour Union of தாய்நாடு has officially launched its new digital membership portal, enabling workers across Tamil Nadu to apply for membership, upload documents, and receive their digital ID cards entirely online.

The new portal represents a significant step forward in making LUT membership accessible to workers in all districts of Tamil Nadu, including those in remote areas who previously had to travel to regional offices.

The portal features a streamlined five-step registration process covering personal details, professional information, document upload, review, and payment. Workers can complete the entire process from their mobile phones.

Upon approval, members receive a unique LUT Membership ID and a digital ID card that can be accessed through the member dashboard. The digital card includes a QR code for instant verification by employers and authorities.

LUT President R. Murugesan stated: "This digital portal is our commitment to making LUT membership simple, accessible, and modern. Every worker in Tamil Nadu deserves a recognized professional identity."
