FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Who can join LUT?
Any worker, professional, apprentice or employer in Tamil Nadu can join LUT. Individual workers across all labour categories are eligible for membership.
How long does the registration process take?
The online registration takes about 15–20 minutes. After submission, admin review typically takes 3–5 working days.
What documents are required?
You will need a valid identity proof, address proof, and optionally qualification certificates and skill certifications.
What is the membership fee?
Individual membership is ₹500 per year. Organization membership is ₹5,000 per year. Fees are subject to revision.
How do I receive my LUT ID?
After admin approval, your LUT Membership ID and digital ID card will be issued and accessible through your member dashboard.
Can I renew my membership online?
Yes, membership renewal can be done entirely online through your member dashboard before the expiry date.
